There will be no school in Catalonia on the 21st of December because of the Parliament of Catalonia elections.

The Spanish Ministry of Education has decreed this change in the school calendar under the provisions of article 13.6 of Royal Decree 605/1999 on complementary election regulations. The Royal Decree states that “in the event that a day set in the corresponding decrees calling for elections is not a holiday, no school shall be held on that day in the corresponding territory”.

The day after the elections, Friday the 22nd of December, there will be school.
