This workshop will explore formulas for working together in partnership, agreements between public and private institutions, sustainable development, land use and economic activities, as well as gaining local support.

Case Study: Woody and coastal area with wild fires. Examples of local population involvement in prevention and extintion of fires, meeting with a representative of a local association. More information
Excursion: We will have the chance to have a pleasant walk by Cap de Creus coast and enjoy amazing views over the cliffs, little beaches, caves and much more of this Natural Park.

Case Study: This is a woody and volcanic area with high socioeconomic activity. Examples of agreements tools between public and private institutions (examples such as the implementation of the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism, and other projects of rural development). More information
Excursion: It is possible to choose between 3 options: a nature and cultural heritage bus tour, walking and cycling trip through a highly man-made environment with great geological, botanical and landscape values
