Election campaign

The election campaign lasts a fortnight.

It starts at 00:00 hours on 11 September and ends at 00:00 hours on 26 September.

Local councils have to set aside official premises and free public places for election campaign meetings.

Local councils must report their arrangements between 5 and 11 August to the relevant area electoral commission, which in turn reports them to the provincial electoral commission.

This list must specify the dates and times when each facility is available and it must be published in the Official Journal of the Province no later than 19 August.

No. Once the list has been published in the Official Journal of the Province, representatives of the lists can apply to the area electoral commissions to use premises and facilities for campaign meetings.

On 4 September the area electoral commissions will divide up the premises and facilities based on  Llei orgànica 5/1985, of 19 June.

Opinion polls cannot be published or reproduced in any medium between 22 and 26 September.
