The 42 candidacies for the Parliament of Catalonia elections scheduled for the 21st of December are announced

A total of 10 candidacies will run in Barcelona, 11 in Girona, 11 in Lleida and 10 in Tarragona. A total of 2 more candidacies are running than in the elections held on the 27th of September 2015. A total of 8 of the tentative candidacies submitted on the 19th of November were not announced.

This Saturday, 25 November, the Official Gazette of the Government of Catalonia (DOGC) and the Spanish Official Gazette (BOE) have published the definitive list of the candidacies announced for the Parliament of Catalonia elections to be held next 21st of December. There are a total of 42 candidacies, two more than in the elections held on the 27th of September 2015: 10 in Barcelona, 11 in Girona, 11 in Lleida and 10 in Tarragona. 

A total of 8 of the tentative groups which submitted their candidacies on the 19th of November were not announced: 6 in the district of Barcelona and 2 in Tarragona. The former are: Per un món més just (PUM+J), La familia paz y libertad (LA FAMILIA), Democràcia Nacional (DN), Partit família i vida (PFiV), Convergents (CNV), Unidos y socialistas+por la Democracia (UNIDOS-DEf-Socialistas); and in Tarragona they are: Per un món més just (PUM+J) and Ciudadanos Libres Unidos (CILUS).
