Yes. The Ministry of Business and Employment will set out the regulations so that voters who are working on 21 December may have up to four hours to exercise their right to vote within their working day. These hours must be remunerated.  

When the voter is working only part time, a proportional reduction will be made in the leave allowed.

 

The time allowed for going to vote must coincide with the opening hours the polling place is open and will be decided by the employer.

 

Yes. Employers are entitled to ask their workers to submit supporting documents stating that they have voted issued by the pertinent polling station committee before paying the salary for the time spent on voting.

 

No. Workers whose working day timetable does not coincide in whole or in part with the timetable for voting are not entitled to take leave of absence to vote.
