The work consists in the modification of the grade of the track and the extension of the box structure, 370 m in length. Part of this work was executed in the refurbishment of the junction vestibule between the recently built Metro lines. The current works include the 114 additional metres due to be built.
Adif is currently building the future accesses on the mountain side and the vestibule of the Sagrera-Meridiana station, which will be situated in Carrer de Martí i Molins. This access will have fixed steps, an escalator and a lift adapted for people with reduced movement.
Inside the vestibule, work will consist in the construction of the access control area and ticket office, the installations area, the internal offices of Adif and the Rodalies de Catalunya operator, as well as several areas that will remain available to cover any future needs of the complex.
The act of lowering the railway tracks of Sagrera-Meridiana makes it necessary to lower the level of the collector in Carrer de Garcilaso.
